Paintings of Animal

September 2023 - October 2023
Our Fall Art Exhibition is now open for viewing at the children’s section of the Davis Library in Plano. This exhibition features over 25 pieces of art.
We have spent over two months working on these pieces. We started by learning how to sketch four legged animals and other creatures. We analyzed shapes, talked about colors that occur in nature, and learnt to create the different textures of the skin/feathers/scales of the animals. Finally, we discussed habitats that the animals exist in, and then placed them in their natural habitat.
This has been an ambitious endeavor, we’ve all learnt a lot and the results are outstanding. Do check it out.

Check out this exhibition to see a collection of edibles. We go back to our favorite topic - food! We painted cupcakes, ice cream cones and lots of fruit.

We studied Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and used that painting as inspiration to create our own paintings. There is a haunted schoolhouse, a fairy land and even a scene from Jack and the Beanstalk.
For the second collection, we go back to our favorite topic - food! We painted cupcakes, omelets, ice cream cones and even created a drinks menu.
