How does one paint time?  Time is hard to define, impossible to comprehend and excruciating to visualize. Is it the indefinite continued progress of existence and events, circling around till it envelopes our collective human conscience? Does it swirl around like water, pulling us along with it, tossing us around in its tumultuous waves? Or is it taking us on an endless linear journey, where we leave behind memories and continually venture onto unstepped sands. This painting is my exploration of the concept of time. It is the most challenging abstract I have attempted in terms of subject and size. It took about a year to conceptualize, visualize and finally materialize.
